Raja
Portrait of Raja, our trans-species feline, blissing-out on a pile of soft wood chips warmed by the mid-day sun. Where else but here in San Francisco could he be cool coming out with the truth of his orientation. You see; Raja is a Dog (Beagle - Corgi mix, we think) trapped in the body of a Heterochromia iridum (one eye is blue, the other gold) Cat. I considered getting him a Facebook page, but even their 54 selections of sexual self-identification fall short of Raja's special needs. Fresh picked home grown organic Catnip, powerful enough to make our Tuxedo kitty Lily silly and swoon? No thanks! Buries it like poop. Spicy pork sausage? Better protect your plate, he'll nip your wrist to distract, circle and lunge like a hyena; dance, yap and beg like a Jack Russell Terrier for the littlest morsel. Besides small prints to grace your shelves, consider plastering Raja's smug mug on a . . . Mug!

Undercover Cats . . . Tooned
On a wet and chilly morning in San Francisco, our undercover cats Raja & Lily are thinking about sleeping in.

Raja and Lily
Raja and Lily soaking up some rare San Francisco sunshine perched in our open and screened front window. Lily seems all woozy and warm, while bi-color eyed Raja is doing his best to fake a "WTF you want?" expression on his mini mountain lion lovey boy face, like I've interrupted him sweet talking his favorite unobtainable girlie cat.

Here Lies Lily
A permanent place in the garden for Lily, marked by her friend the stone cat. Our sorrow softened with a few rose petals and a pretty blue feather donated by the California Jay she so admired from afar. Best kitty ever. . . rest in peace sweet kitten-face.

Portrait of a Cat as a Dirty Old Man
Raja, our 17 year old mini mountain lion lovey boy, still enjoys the occasional roll in the ground bark garden pathways to get filthy. Then of course all he wants to do is come inside and cuddle his dusty dirty self against you, preferably on newly reupholstered furniture. Here he shamelessly shows off his feline Heterochromia iridum eyes to melt us into forgiveness for once again ruining his moments ago clean and brushed soft fur coat, floating tufts of which he generously detaches and shares with anyone Raja senses may have cat dander allergies. Rare fruit fans will note the nearly ripe Australian Fingerlime. Followers of non-themes may observe a moderate degree of bokehlicious background. Caturday Every Day!.

Cute and Curious Rosie
I originally uploaded this image to Google+, hash-tagged for the theme #WordlessOnWednesday figuring cat lovers would grok Rosie's peek-a-boo pose of high alert for stairway fun and games. What do you think she sees ? What is she thinking ?
